No Quarter Paint
Hello, my name is James Langton and I'm the Director of No Quarter.
The history of No Quarter goes back into the early 2000s. I grew up visiting my Father at his workshop after school where he'd regularly be restoring classic Le Man cars, American, muscle and classic British cars. I also learnt the art of detailing where I would use these new skills on my bike.. this has followed me to this day and has helped me to produce the detailing products we currently offer.
From this, I subconsciously learnt the processes and techniques of paintwork; how to proportion colour weight, how to create a custom design and what colours could be used together.
Ever since I was a child, cycling has always been on my mind. The clichéd stories of drawing pictures of bicycles in schoolbooks and spending weekends working on my bikes are indeed true for me. I was always excellent at taking my bike to bits, not so much putting it back together safely, but I live to tell the tale.
I also spend the majority of my teenage years buying and selling vintage racing bikes after placing adverts in the local newspapers.
I have a passion for anything that has involved someone taking the time to understand and become knowledgeable of their craft. Some of my favourite things are beautiful suits from Saville Row, stunning hand-made watches and let's not forget classic motorcycles and cars, particularly hotrods.
When creating No Quarter, I wanted to offer products and services that I would be happy buying and using, it's that simple.
