The Shimano FC-M4000 Alivio Octalink Chainset with its two-piece forged aluminium construction features smooth and precise shifting performance due to its Hyperdrive technology. This FC-M4000 Alivio Chainset features an Octalink 8-spline interface between the bottom bracket and crank arms, providing better meshing and power transmission. When using Octalink, the splines do not deform the crankarm making it easy to remove the crank without using extreme force.
